Hello all, I'm looking to get the full potential of my beta engine. I recently ran a 16.0 at the 1/4th mile and I know it can be much faster than that. I want to know if anyone has tried to swap out the engine harness from an 01-03 elantra into their beta-swapped accents. Please shed more light on this because it seems my car gets slower in 4th, 5th gear. the 1.6 ECU is just not giving enough fuel or something, i don't know, help please!!!

As i understand swaping the

As i understand swaping the harness is not  needed. You should only need to repin the plug so it will run the 2.0 ecu!!! Or maybe try bigger injectors and stronger fuel pump!!!

im not sure what you have

im not sure what you have done to your ride but if you havnt already, change your fuel pump to a higher flow unit. im still running a stock 1.5L sohc motor and i installed a walbro 255 lph it cost me around 200 dollars but drops in like the oem part. and maybe have your ECU remapped if you want. i have done this to mine and boy what a difference. im playing with the 1.5 untill i have the Beta motor built up and everything i need to install it in my ride.
